Our Story · Est. 1995

Weird and wonderful things, and a very big chair.

The Big Chair Company started out over 25 years ago selling antique and reproduction antique furniture. It became very well known for stocking weird and wonderful things, and was a popular spot for people to call by and have their photo on the big chair sat out the front of the shop.

In recent times, under new ownership, the shop has had a facelift and has a new direction and aim: to become the ultimate destination for furniture and interiors in Lincolnshire.

These days you'll find vintage and contemporary furniture, home interiors and accessories, and a coffee shop and dessert parlour all under one roof.

“A marvellous combination of a cafe and a furniture store. The cafe offers a fantastic selection of drinks, ice creams, waffles pancakes and so much more. There are multiple areas to the cafe to sit and are dog friendly. Everything we ordered was delicious. The store sells lots of items from tiny fridge magnets to magnificent sofas and everything in between - some areas of the shop is not dog friendly. The building is wheelchair accessible and even has accessible toilets. There is a games room you can hire from £10 an hour”
